State Literacy Mission Authority, Rajasthan encourages public private participation to strengthen the infrastructure of CECs. Some of the major contributions include:
- The village panchayats of Barmer and Hanumangarh districts got building constructed for CECs.
- Salar village, Chittorgarh has been made fully literate with collaboration of Hindustan Zink Ltd. and Zila Saksharta Samiti.
- In Hanumangarh District citizens have donated a picture of Mahatma Gandhi, a clock,a water storage vessel and brooms to the Centre.
- TCS has supported Computer Literacy Program in Jhalawar and Vedant Group has provided computers to 50 Continuing Education Centres in Chittorgarh to increase computer literacy.
NRIs, NRRIs, individuals, organizations, societies, trusts, etc. can join this noble movement and contribute in a number of ways such as:
- Construction of permanent buildings with a room, a community hall, a library with toilet facility within or outside the Government Upper Primary School premises.
- Adoption of some villages to accentuate literacy activities making the villages totally literate; and launch awareness programmes.
- Strengthening of CECs' infrastructure and resources: tables, chairs, books, daris, TV, radio, sport equipment, computers, almirah, etc.
- Helping CECs associate with income generating activities by providing photocopy machine, book binding machine, cyber café, etc.
- Organising some short vocational courses with expert master trainers.
- Improving availability of equipment like sewing machines; and raw materials.
- Organising innovative and convergence activities in collaboration with some agency at CECs.
- Provide land to build permanent constructions for CECs.
Mission Jyoti
Mission Jyoti has been initiated to seek the involvement of eminent NRR’s, NRRI’s, any individuals, trusts, corporate/ business houses for establishing basic infrastructural facilities and renovation of existing school building for the creation of CECs (Continuing Education Centres). These centres would be established as centres for life-long learning and awareness.
- If any building or classrooms in a government school premises are lying in a dilapidated condition, these may be renovated to be used as CECs.
- 1-2 new rooms may be constructed in a school premises to be used as CECs.
- In absence of existing rooms or space for construction of new rooms, new construction is possible on a private/ government land in that area.
- Apart from the building construction or renovation, basic physical facilities like flooring, furniture, photostat machine, computers, books, etc. may be provided.

Towards the development and success of Mission Jyoti, many people have been generously contributing:
- Mr. Jyoti Maheshwari, Chairman of the Mission Jyoti Foundation, has shown a keen interest in associating with the literacy programme in Rajasthan and has offered to provide help and assistance in any form through the foundation.
- Mr. Bhagchandaka, an eminent Rajasthani and Chairman of the Bhagchand Trust, has given his consent letter to build ten CECs, furnished with essential infrastructure, in Sikar district
